Alan R. Feigenbaum
Alan Feigenbaum is a partner at Alter, Wolff & Foley LLP. In this role, Alan specializes in marital dissolution matters before New York trial and appellate courts, working with individuals to prosecute, defend and negotiate all facets of disputes related to issues of equitable distribution, custody, parenting time, and child and spousal support. He also represents individuals in the negotiation and drafting of prenuptial and marital agreements, including separation agreements. Alan was named a 2014 Rising Star by New York Super Lawyers.
Alan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, New York Chapter and co-chair of the Committee on Legislation for the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. He has also lectured on various family law topics in connection with the New York State Bar Association.
Prior to joining Alter, Wolff & Foley LLP, for approximately eight years, Alan was an associate attorney at Kasowitz Benson Torres & Friedman LLP, where his practice was also exclusively focused on family law matters. Prior to joining Kasowitz Benson Torres & Friedman LLP, for approximately five years, Alan was an associate attorney at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, where he practiced patent and general commercial litigation in federal courts.
Alan graduated from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, Order of the Coif. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.

Alan and his wife, Talia, live in Maplewood, New Jersey with their two children, Jack and Nola.
